Pre-Outbreak History | A troubled child growing up, Lisa Trammel spent her formative years either in/out of the criminal justice system, first as a guest of Missouri's juvenile system and then "graduating" to the adult system at 16 after taking a swing at a state trooper who had pulled her over for revoked tags and connecting (the trooper ended up with a broken jaw/concussion, Lisa w/1-2 years in state prison). Subsequent trips in and out of the system - mostly for drug-related offenses - had hardened an already hard-run girl into a truly dangerous person, one who wouldn't hesitate to put someone down on the tile if necessary...
Outbreak Day | When OUtbreak Day arrived, Lisa - now hitchhiking her way across the Show-Me State - was just entering the outskirts of some no-name town in a no-name part of Missouri when she came upon what looked at first like a gruesome scene: a car crash with a body lying on the road, another person hovering over them. Thinking at first that the second person was an EMT or medic, Lisa felt a deep chill go through her when she saw that the second person wasn't trying to help the first person, they were biting and clawing at them. Backing up a little bit at first, Lisa got behind a wrecked truck and waited a bit, thinking the undead creature nearby would leave; eventually, though, Lisa - now hearing some more weird voices nearby - got up, walked over to the creature and put it down, putting a bullet in the first person just in case they they tried to turn.
After a short while to gather her thoughts and try and figure out what to do, Lisa started running in the direction she had been traveling in, checking vehicles left and right to see if they were empty of people and could be used; after a few fruitless checks, she hotwired a Camaro and drove into the nearby town, only to hightail it out when she saw that the town had fallen into a state of utter chaos; mass riots and panic had overtaken everyone there...
Post Outbreak | ...and so Lisa began traveling from town to town, taking odd jobs when/wherever she could find them (not every town collapsed at the same time), supplementing whatever money she earned aboveboard with money earned under-the-table (mostly through drugs but Lisa wasn't afraid to sell herself to earn a little extra dough)...however, the good times would end in Springfield, Missouri about two months after the Great Panic when she shot and killed a sheriff's deputy who had tried to arrest her for soliciting...after a short chase, Lisa Trammel was arrested and thrown into the local jail, crossing paths with another guest of Springfield as the curtain rises on Ms. Trammel, another person stuck in a jail as Springfield begins to collapse outside the confines of the jail...
